This is the last installment in the Iron Tide Brotherhood series. This book was the perfect story to wrap up what has been an excellent series of stories.
Ryker (nicknamed Tank) rescues Dahlia from a raging river. Even as Ryker‘s trying to figure out if he can trust Dahlia, Dahlia is steadfastly focused on finding the memories that she has lost despite the risk of doing so.
The author, Jessica Ashley, does an outstanding job of creating engaging relationships within her stories. In this book, we not only see the relationship developing between Ryker and Dahlia, but we are treated to current day scenes of the brotherhood he shares with his friends. It’s so refreshing to read about friendships and brotherhood instead of competition and dissent!
Ryker is a mature and strong MMC. I enjoyed his quiet but caring personality. He’s devoted to his friends and also to protecting Dahlia, not only during her rescue, but also afterwards when he realizes someone’s trying to harm her.
Dahlia is a smart, educated, forthright woman who prioritizes family. As Dahlia’s story unfolds, we see her determination and fearlessness to discover and face the memories she cannot remember. She more than holds her own during this story!
The supporting characters are engaging, sometimes funny, and inspiring – I’m looking at you Mrs. Marooney and Hilda!
The faith that Jessica’s weaves into these books, both with her introduction and then in the personalities of her characters, never fails to touch and inspire me.
A good, engaging read that will keep you turning the pages!! A perfect ending to the series. Highly recommend!
And with that, the Iron Tide Brotherhood series is complete. It's not often that I find myself so excited for the finale of a series, but whew! This one had me gripped from the start, and each book in this amazing series offers something a little different. They all build together beautifully, and this is such a fitting ending!
I adored meeting these characters, and each member of the SEAL team has their own strengths and weaknesses, and I loved getting to see them each have their moment along the way. I've been excited for this one after reading the teaser in the previous book, and I knew I wanted to read it ASAP. Clearly, that was a good call, and I highly recommend the whole series!
From the time I picked this one up, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I've struggled to find a story that really held my attention lately, and yet this series did just that time and again. I love the writing style and characters, but really it's the faith themes and the difficult challenges that stand out in each book.
Tank is the quiet and more secretive one in the group. (Even more so than Weston, somehow...? XD) As such, it was fun getting to see more of his story and getting to discover another side of his character. I enjoyed seeing Zane and the others learn some of the surprises right alongside the reader. I also adored Dahlia! She's such a sweet character, and I loved seeing her discover how strong she really is while retaining her caring and compassionate nature. I must also mention Mrs. Marooney! She's truly one of a kind, and I loved all the escapades she manages to find herself in along the way. There's another character that I loved meeting as well...but they'll remain unnamed for now. For those of you who've read it and are curious, here's your hint: "Hey there, Dahlia."

Thoroughly enjoyed the series...wish I knew people like the Hunt family. How about some more adventures with them. They're really inspiring.
I love all her books! But a signed copy WITH swag?! The best!
After meeting him in the previous book, I had a feeling that I was going to enjoy this one. Turns out I was right, but I actually loved this one way more than expected! Garrison is such a great guy anyway, and I've loved getting to know him more. The whole team keeps things interesting, and I was surprised to see more of each of them here, making me even more excited to read the rest of the series soon! There were so many fun scenes in this one, and I absolutely laughed out loud a few times and was definitely grinning while reading it. Both are always a good sign. I also marked some quotes that I loved can say that there were so many scenes in this one that I loved!
(And can I mention quickly how much I love Sawyer and Katelyn's friendship/dynamic?) I loved Garrison and Katelyn. Watching them get to know each other and grow along the way was beautiful! If I hadn't guessed before, this series is big on healing, and I've adored reading these first two books. But I also really loved how Sawyer accepted a stranger as a friend so quickly upon seeing Garrison's connection with her, and I loved that more than I can express. Even the others on the team surprised me in this one, and as much as I love the 'family adopts friends' dynamic, this might even top that. Such a beautiful image of what family and friendship truly are, and I love seeing the group growing as the guys finally find their match.
Throw Thomas and Kyle into the mix, and this book absolutely captured my heart! While it was off to a rough start (humorous as it was XD) I knew from the beginning that I was in for a treat, but the jokes on me because this was everything I could have hoped for and more!

Great story of Tank and Dahlia. These two lead characters complimented each other well. This is a clean read with a good balance of suspense and romance. An Enjoyable read to close the series. I loved the friends-to-family vibe thru all of the Iron Tide Books.
I absolutely loved this book.......to be honest, I LOVE all of Jessica Ashley's book.
The characters are ones that I would love to meet in person!
Suspense and action that kept me reading and not wanting to put my book down. This book kept me reading to the very end.
I cannot wait for the next Jessica Ashley book.
THANK YOU!!
I enjoyed listening to Seal of Refuge! As always, Jessica Ashley found a great way to balance romance, suspense and God's word and put it all into a story that is well thought through.
I love how her characters have really tough things to deal with and sometimes heartbreaking trauma to carry BUT still, I can identify with their thoughts and struggles even though I haven't experienced the things they did. So as a reader I can grow with them by understanding God's word more oder being reminded to look at my own circumstances from another perspective.
I have to remind myself though that these people are not real, haha :D
And again, here I am, waiting for the next release and excited for the new series to come!
Jessica Ashleys books are a blessing and I am really thankful to have stumbled over them!
Loved this story!! It was exciting and mesmerizing ALL the way thru!! I seemed to be on the edge of my seat on every page, especially from the 1st third of the book on! Most often, books wait till the last 1/4 of a book to be this way, but this one started earlier and stayed consistent for much longer, with me wondering how they were ever going to get out alive!!!
Very good book!! As usual for Jessica Ashley!!!
