A delightful treat from beginning to end!

After meeting him in the previous book, I had a feeling that I was going to enjoy this one. Turns out I was right, but I actually loved this one way more than expected! Garrison is such a great guy anyway, and I've loved getting to know him more. The whole team keeps things interesting, and I was surprised to see more of each of them here, making me even more excited to read the rest of the series soon! There were so many fun scenes in this one, and I absolutely laughed out loud a few times and was definitely grinning while reading it. Both are always a good sign. I also marked some quotes that I loved can say that there were so many scenes in this one that I loved!

(And can I mention quickly how much I love Sawyer and Katelyn's friendship/dynamic?) I loved Garrison and Katelyn. Watching them get to know each other and grow along the way was beautiful! If I hadn't guessed before, this series is big on healing, and I've adored reading these first two books. But I also really loved how Sawyer accepted a stranger as a friend so quickly upon seeing Garrison's connection with her, and I loved that more than I can express. Even the others on the team surprised me in this one, and as much as I love the 'family adopts friends' dynamic, this might even top that. Such a beautiful image of what family and friendship truly are, and I love seeing the group growing as the guys finally find their match.

Throw Thomas and Kyle into the mix, and this book absolutely captured my heart! While it was off to a rough start (humorous as it was XD) I knew from the beginning that I was in for a treat, but the jokes on me because this was everything I could have hoped for and more!

*I read an eARC of this book. This did not affect my thoughts. This review is voluntary.*

Weston and Reece may be my favorite yet!

Another great book in the series! I loved Weston and Reece! They really go through it in this book. It is a great story of forgiveness and second chances. Jessica truly writes books that pull you in right away and it's a roller coaster of emotions until the very end! I can not recommend this series enough! Every book has been a 5 star read for me!

A wonderful start to the new series!

I definitely planned to read this sooner, but as Bradyn says, God's timing is perfect. I loved meeting the new cast in this one, and am even more excited for their stories now that I've officially met them. I usually have a favorite or two pegged early on, and while I have some suspicions about how they will end up being, I really don't know for sure. I really enjoyed seeing them all together and seeing them interact with Tessa. Jessica Ashley is easily one of my absolute top favorite Christian romantic suspense authors, and this book is a shining example of why. Her characters are delightfully flawed in real and tangible ways; they deal with realistic struggles, and their faith is messy and uncertain at times in a way that proves it's real. Our Christian walk isn't easy, but with Christ, everything is better. He walks through the fiery trials, always by our side as He leads the way. This story is a beautiful example of that.

I can't wait for the next one!

Sawyer has had a thing for Anastasia for years...The only thing that has kept him from acting on his feelings is the fact that she's the younger sister of his best friend...And that she's been dating and FBI agent for the past 6 months.

Shortly after starting the relationship, Anastasia went to see Sawyer, to see what was going on between the two of them, but he told her that he wanted her to be happy, so she walked out and went on with her life. Fast forward to the present and Sawyer happens to go to a family dinner at the Knox house. Anastasia's FBI boyfriend proposes, but she turns him down.

All of a sudden, she starts getting questionable phone calls, and then a stuffed animal. Sawyer and Zane, her brother, drive to Atlanta to confront her ex, who assures them he is not involved.

We get some more of Anastasia's back story, specifically her friendship with Weston's younger sister. Watching how Sawyer and the rest of his team work together to help Anastasia and find out who is hunting her, they also uncover the real story behind what happened to her best friend.

      Fantastic series

Another amazing book by Jessica Ashley. SEAL of Bravery is a fast-paced romantic suspense read that has tropes such as friends to more, close proximity, neighbors, a single mom and her teenage son, faith, and danger. Garrison and Katelyn's story and relationship had me hooked from the very beginning of the story. I loved how Garrison was such a good man who ran a teen center and a good role model for them.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Friendship, Love, and Faith- Coming Full Circle

Sawyer and Anastasia are amazing characters living life in a real way. This is not only a 5-star book, but also a book that I will re-read, no question.

When it first started the book there was a difficult situation with the two main characters- a misunderstanding, a failure to communicate, hurt feelings. So many books drag out this kind of thing for chapters and chapters so I was dreading that. BUT imagine my surprise and my sheer delight when these two people handled their problem in a timely manner with maturity and actually talked to each other in a real, honest way. Just like I would have done. No unnecessary angst or continuing hurt, but rather humble honesty and real resolution so they could move forward into their story in a believable way. Because they did this, the focus of the story was not on an unnecessary drama, but rather how they moved forward and faced the challenges ahead. This was so completely refreshing, and I have to say I loved that because it set me up for really engaging with the story.

Jessica wrote both main characters in such a way we get a real picture of how they think, how they feel, and why. Each have difficult things to deal with, but they deal with them by relying on faith, relationships, and realistic expectations. All of these things combined make Sawyer and Anastasia a joy to read about and my favorite characters in this series. (If you can’t tell, I love character driven stories.)

The characters were engaging but so was the story. No spoilers here, but I honestly did not know “who did it” until very close to the end. I didn’t see it coming and I was shocked! Jessica wrote a great mystery/ suspense!

A favorite thing about this story- and so many others in the Jessica Ashley universe- is Sawyer and Anastasia are not perfect, nor are they unrealistic in any way. I can relate to many of their feelings and actions. I can relate to wrestling with the Lord and struggling with faith.

Other things about the book: The “Note from the Author” section is always something I look forward to, and it did not disappoint. So much good stuff there. And lastly, the dedication brings tears to my eyes: “To those who have fought their way back to God. And to those who wage war on their knees. WE WILL NOT FEAR.” Amen!

      Ultimate Romantic Suspense bundle

I originally bought the Hunt Brothers series as ebooks and then went back and purchased the Coastal Hope ebooks. I loved them so much that I then went back and bought the paperback full bundle with all 12 books!

These books are so well written and leave you feeling hopeful and encouraged. I bought the alternate covers and love them! I purchased the physical copies because while this is a swoony romance, it has so much action that I just know my husband will love them too!

I HIGHLY recommend every one of these books. They literally keep getting better and better.

      Love this!

Wow. Just wow. Another thrilling no spice Christian romantic suspense from Ashley. I totally devoured her previous series and I wish this one was completed so that I could do it again.

This book has so much that I loved: a search and rescue military feel, a former SEAL and his team, a runaway bride, a second chance, redemption, faith, family, and so much more. Zane and his team have been trapped into doing off the books missions for years. And it’s wearing on them. Tessa has been missing for 18 years - ever since she ran away before their wedding. But suddenly she’s back, with all of the demons from her past (including horrific child abuse from her father) beating on her door.

This book was filled with action, protection, and so many amazing moments of faith, family, and redemption. I cannot wait to read more from this series and I adored seeing bits of the Hunts. The romance is just kisses, intimacy level 2.
