Written in a more unique present tense, first person point of view, you get to see another perspective each chapter as the story unfold. Alaric is so protective of Wrenley from the start, and Wrenley is so dedicated to her charity dedicated to her late best friend; they are meant to be together.
You’re in the midst of suspense right from the start and it keeps you going right to the end. One of the twist along the way I saw coming, the other one got me totally by surprise. The ending is lovely and there is a HEA. There is also an element of faith as Alaric learns what it means to give God his life after watching Wrenley’s strong faith in God through all her trials.
